Kathmandu. Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has forwarded the necessary process to amend and make revision to the Micro Insurance Directive, 2079.
The authority has forwarded the process to amend the micro-insurance directive with the objective of making the regulation, operation and implementation of the micro-insurance sector more systematic and effective.
In this connection, the draft of amendment to the Insurance Act, 2079, Insurance Rules-2081 and the Micro Insurance Directive-2082 has been given final shape based on the feedback received from various bodies and international practice.
In addition to this, the organization has also forwarded the study and research related to micro insurance along with the collection and analysis of data in the micro insurance sector.
