Kathmandu. Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has requested foreign reinsurers who want to do reinsurance business in Nepal to renew their listing number or register a new one.
According to Clause 12 of the Reinsurance Directive, 2080, all foreign reinsurers doing reinsurance business in Nepal should be enlisted with the Authority and get a registration number. The registration number has to be renewed as it has already been registered.
