Kathmandu. The Insurance Authority of Nepal (NIA) has settled 39 complaints in the current fiscal year 2083. As of the second month of 2084, 39 complaints have been settled.
The Insurance Authority has settled those complaints through verdict and agreement. According to this, 32 complaints have been settled through judgment and 7 complaints have been settled through agreement.
The authority has received 342 complaints till August. Of these, in the last fiscal year, 2082. There are 319 complaints transferred from 83. Till August of the current fiscal year, 23 complaints have been received, including 21 in the central office and two in the state office. There are still 303 complaints yet to be settled.
In the last fiscal year, the NRA had settled only 281 complaints out of 600 complaints. The complaint clearance rate is around 47 percent.
