Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: NMB Bank Limited has published its financial results for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2082/83. For the first time, the bank has posted a net profit of Rs. It has achieved historical success by crossing the milestone of Rs 4 billion.
Compared to the previous year, the profit of the bank increased by 40.6 percent to Rs. 4.01 billion. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 2.85 billion in the same quarter last year.
During this period, the total distributable profit of the bank was Rs. The share was 9.08 percent and the distributable profit per share was 9.08 percent.
Net Interest Income: Net interest income increased by 17.5% due to effective balance management. 9.42 billion.
Fee and Commission Income: Fee and commission income increased by 16.6% with the growth in digital and transaction banking. 2.83 billion.
Net Trading Income: Trading income increased by 89.0% to Rs.681.42 million due to improvement in treasury and foreign exchange transactions.
Rates of Return: Capital Return and Asset Return improved to 11.58% and 1.04%, respectively.
