Kathmandu. Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company (Salico) has paid a total of Rs. 26,09,22,234.75 in the Rasuwa flood-affected areas. The company has paid the amount as of October 12.
With an aim to provide financial relief to the insured in the affected areas and help reduce the financial burden of the loss, the company has so far paid Rs. 23,05,39,782.75 has been paid in advance. Insurance claims worth Rs. 3,03,82,452 have been paid.
In order to make the claim payment process easier, more effective and faster, the company has requested the concerned insured and service recipients to provide the necessary documents as soon as possible. The company has said that receiving the necessary documents on time will help in expediting the claim evaluation and payment process.
