As per the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority, 14 non-life insurance companies have collected Rs 4.01 billion in insurance premiums in the current fiscal year. These companies have issued 2,41,835 insurance policies in April.
Himalayan Everest Insurance Company Ltd (IC) has been the top bidder for the insurance company in April. The company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 63.48 crore.
NLG Insurance is in second place. The company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 43.30 crore in the review period.
Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance is the third largest businessman in the world. The company has collected a total premium of Rs 42.63 crore.
Similarly, IGI Prudential Insurance has collected Rs 41.49 crore, Shikhar Insurance Rs 39.09 crore, Siddhartha Premier Insurance Rs 37.35 crore, Neco Insurance Rs 28.94 crore and Sanima GIC Insurance Rs 28.08 million.
Similarly, United Ajod Insurance collected Rs 21.18 crore, Oriental Insurance Rs 16 crore, Nepal Insurance Rs 14.7 crore, Prabhu Insurance Rs 12.94 crore, National Insurance Rs 8.32 crore and National Insurance Rs 3.88 crore.
