Kathmandu. Singer and actor Prakash Saput has been appointed as the musical ambassador of IME Limited. IME Limited has announced Saput as its musical ambassador amidst an event today.
According to the company, the purpose of joining Saput is to make the remittance service more effective and strengthen the relationship with the customers. Saput is very popular in Nepali society due to his original folk creations and socially conscious songs. His songs are equally popular among Nepalis from village to city and from far-flung to abroad.
Prakash Saput has been expressing the sentiments of ordinary Nepalis who have reached the world labour market for employment through his music. IME believes that the arrival of Saput will further help to make the people aware of the role played by remittances in making the country’s economy and society prosperous.
Badri Katawal, General Manager of IME Limited said, “This collaboration will add a different value to our campaign as his creations speak true to the society and touch hearts of Nepalis.” He also said that music is the strongest medium to bridge the distance between home and abroad and it will act as a charioteer for Nepali migrant workers.
