He has been working as a representative of the company at the Tokha branch office of Citizen Life. Hari, who has a master’s degree in finance, has joined the insurance business by embracing the agent profession without any hesitation.
Hari, who has made a mark in the insurance market by explaining the benefits and benefits of insurance, reaches out to his friends and friends with education and awareness. Not only this, Hari also runs a campaign when he meets his friends to submit the insurance. Whether it is in the tea shop or on the road, he leaves no stone unturned to educate everyone about insurance.
Hari, who respects every work and profession, is not only associated with insurance but is also associated with various social organizations and urban areas. He is the chairman of Royal Umang Group of Investment Company, Lions Club and various social organizations. Not only this, Hari has also been running his own online business (Koji Online Gift).
Born in 1992 in Musikot Municipality-1 of Gulmi, Hari had a normal childhood. Growing up in a simple farming family, Hari spent his school life helping his parents with grass, firewood, and fairs. Hari completed his SLC from Musikot. He went to the headquarters of Tamghas to study Pulsestu.
Hari’s dream of coming to the district headquarters with the intention of doing some work along with studies faded within 1 year. There is no shortage of small market, resources and resources in the headquarters, no hope of getting a job or the courage to do some business. So now Hari had no choice but to enter the capital. On top of that, the responsibilities of the house and worries about the future.
Meanwhile, Hari moved to Kathmandu, the city of his dreams, while studying in grade 11. After that, Hari somehow completed his studies up to Plus Two from Kathmandu.

After completing his studies up to Plus Two, Hari got an opportunity to work in a shoe shop in New Road while studying in the first year of graduation. He did that for only 6 months. After that, while studying for a bachelor’s degree, he started preparing for a job in the police. And there too, in the end, it was written and thrown away.
Hari then joined the cooperative in 2072 BS. He continued his studies by working in a cooperative. He worked as a market representative in the cooperative for 2 years. After performing well, he got the opportunity to work as a branch assistant in-charge in the same cooperative.
People go where there is a good opportunity. Similarly, in 2075 BS, Hari got an opportunity to work as a loan officer in another cooperative Champadevi Savings and Credit Cooperative. After that, he was an assistant manager and manager in the same cooperative and now he is working as a secretary in this cooperative.
Added to the insurance
Rama Pant’s guide, who works in a cooperative, got acquainted with Hari while working in the cooperative. “Rama Pant ma’am, work in insurance, it will be good for you. People working in cooperatives also understand the market, it is easy for you to get insurance because you are directly connected to the society. The agent profession is very good. It is good to do it in your leisure time, as it is a profession related to social welfare, ‘after which Hari, who did not understand insurance, was curious to do it’. He started working in 2075 BS with a license from the Kantipath branch of Citizen Life.
After getting his license, Hari also underwent capacity building training as an agent. After the training, he felt that he could work. In the process of working, Hari also developed some frustration. Hari said he couldn’t do it, even though he didn’t have a guide.
In 2077 BS, while working in the government, Hari met Raj Kumar Neupane, the branch manager of Citizen Life’s Tokha branch. That meeting became the turning point of Hari’s success. After that, there was a constant dialogue and follow-up between Hari and the branch manager. The head of the section gave courage and confidence that the work could be done. And since 2077 BS, Hari has been back in Citizen Life and has been progressing and progressing from this profession today.

Hari shared his experience of observing the market while going for insurance, “There is still a lack of insurance understanding and insurance literacy among people. Even the insurers refuse to take insurance. That is, insurance is not well understood. Steps should be taken at the government level to expand the access to insurance. Insurance companies, insurance authorities and agents are doing their best to spread awareness about insurance. However, the insurance sector has not been able to get the expected results. ’
“The Insurance Authority has made it mandatory to have a plus-two for agent license, which is a good step for the insurance sector. Because even by giving agent licenses to people who are not literate about insurance, who do not understand insurance and do not know how to study, there was no improvement in the insurance sector. People were confused about insurance,” Hari said, adding, “Now the process of distributing licenses to those who understand, read and understand insurance will also make a good group in the insurance sector.” ’
“I am very satisfied with the profession of an insurance agent,” said Hari. It’s not a bad thing to make yourself feel good and protect others. I am also a person who likes to do social work. That’s why I’m very happy that an agent is a profession that is connected to social welfare. ’

Hari has realized that a lot has changed in him since entering this profession. “I have become financially better after joining this profession. I have developed a social personality,” he said, adding, “I have got the opportunity to know people from different places and society. I have had the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. Honestly, the insurance profession has given me unexpected happiness. I am forever grateful to the company for this. ’
In Hari’s opinion, insurance is both savings and security. “Insurance is a necessity for everyone, but it is more important for those with low income than for those who have a lot of money,” says Hari. Insurance provides relief in the absence of any of them. Therefore, insurance is more important for ordinary people with low incomes than for those who have a lot of money. ’
Giving advice to new agents coming into this profession, Hari said, “What is insurance? What does insurance do? Bring common sense and wisdom about insurance. Go to the market to know about the company and the company’s policies. Do not be fooled and walk on the path of truth. If you can work hard in this area, you don’t have to go to foreign lands. ’
Hari says that he is always ready to fulfill every goal given by the company. He has fulfilled many goals of Gold Club, Silver Club, Hero of the Month, Hero of the Delegate and has received many awards. Not only this, Hari has also achieved the MDRT target for 2026. He says that he has got the opportunity to travel to 2 countries by completing various schemes of the company. “I have had the opportunity to visit many places in Nepal. ’
