Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidates have made a clean sweep in 4 districts in the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives. The candidates of the RSP won in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhuktapur, Sindhuli, Chitwan and Jhapa.
The Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) has won all the 10 constituencies in Kathmandu. Kathmandu Constituency No. Ranju Darshana, Constituency No. 1. Sunil KC from constituency no. 2 Rajunath Pandey from constituency no. 3 Bomb in the 4th, Area No. Sasmit Pokhrel from constituency no. 5 Shishir Khanal, Constituency No. 6 Ganesh Parajuli in Constituency No. 7 Biraj Bhakta Shrestha in Constituency No. 8 Dol Prasad Aryal in constituency 9 and Dol Prasad Aryal in constituency no. 9. Pradeep Bista has won in 10.
In Lalitpur, the candidates of the Rastriya Samajwadi Party have won all the 3 seats. Lalitpur Region No. Buddha Ratna Maharjan, Constituency No. 1 Jagadish Kharel in constituency 2 and Constituency No. Toshima Karki has won in Province 3.
Bhaktapur Constituency No. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RSP) candidate Rukesh Ranjit won from constituency no. 1 while Rajiv Khatri of the same party won the election. He won 2 seats.
In Sindhuli, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RSP) candidates have won in both the constituencies. Sindhuli Constituency No. Dhanendra Karki from Sindhuli constituency-1 Ashish Gajuri has been elected from constituency 2.
Similarly, in Chitwan, the Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) candidates have won in all 3 constituencies. Chitwan Region No. Hari Dhakal from constituency no. 1 Rabi Lamichhane, the party president from constituency no. 2, and Rabi Lamichhane from constituency no. 2. Sovita Gautam has won from Constituency 3.
On the other hand, the candidates of the Rastriya Samajwadi Party have won in all the 5 constituencies of Jhapa. Jhapa Region No. Nisha Dangi from constituency no. 1 Indira Rana Magar from constituency no. 2 Prakash Pathak from Constituency No. 3 Shambhu Prasad Dhakal from constituency no. 4 Balen Shah has been elected from constituency 5.
This election is the most popular constituency of Jhapa. In Constituency 5, Balen Sah defeated CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. Balen garnered 66,200 votes while Oli garnered 18,095 votes. Balen defeated Oli by a margin of 48,105 votes.
