Kathmandu. The government, which has announced a public holiday for two days a week due to the fuel crisis, has also decided to give a public holiday for hospitals and health institutions for two days a week.
The government has decided to implement a two-day holiday in the health sector following pressure from 14 joint professional associations working in the health sector.
Regular OPD services will remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays in government hospitals across the country. However, emergency and intimate services will remain open throughout the week.
