According to the financial report, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 64.74 crore in the review period. Last year, 2081. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 61.69 crore in the same period. The company’s net profit increased by 4.94 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.
The company has collected Rs 3.12 billion in share premium till January of the current fiscal year. The share premium stood at Rs 3.12 billion as of mid-July last year.
The company has a share capital of Rs 10.86 billion, special reserve of Rs 2.38 billion, catastrophe fund of Rs 23.97 crore, reentered earnings of Rs 1.19 billion and other equity of Rs 740.5 million. In the previous year, the company had a negative amount of Rs 1.96 billion in special reserves, Rs 198.0 million in catastrophe fund, Rs 82.76 crore in retained earnings and Rs 18.48 crore in other equities.
In the first six months of the current FY, the company earned Rs 3.29 billion in total insurance premiums. The company had earned Rs 2,50.67 crore in total insurance premiums in the same period last year. The company’s total premium has increased by 31.30 percent compared to the previous year.
During the review period, the company earned a net insurance premium of Rs 3.24 billion. The company had earned Rs 2,2934 crore in the same period last year. Compared to the previous year, the net premium income increased by 41.31 percent.
The company’s earnings per share (EPS) increased to Rs 11.92. The EPS was Rs. 11.86 a year ago. The company has a net worth per share of Rs 157.02 with a P/E ratio of 70.54 times.
