A meeting of the board of directors of the company held on May 29 decided to distribute a total dividend of 4.74 percent of the current paid-up capital of Rs 10.4 0 billion from the distributable profit of that fiscal year. Of this, 4.5 percent is a bonus share of Rs 468 million and a cash dividend of Rs 24.63 million for tax purposes of 0.24 percent.
According to the company, the proposed dividend will be distributed to the shareholders after approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority after approval from the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
