Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Himalayan Realtors has received a license from Real Estate Broker and Department of Land Management and Archives to operate ‘Bhu Sewa’ nationwide, with an objective of making real estate business dignified, transparent and technology-friendly.
Although administrative complexities and the hassle of obtaining separate permissions from each Land Revenue Office had created some obstacles in the integrated service delivery in the past, with the nationwide permission provided by the Department, the way has now been cleared to facilitate real estate transactions from any place across the country. The company intends to provide integrated and one-door service to its customers through the latest digital system.
As per the current legal provision, the government has limited this service to institutional transactions above Rs 30 million within the metropolitan city and sub-metropolitan city area. However, Himalayan Realtors believes that in the near future, its jurisdiction will expand to include municipal areas, transactions of less than Rs 30 million and even individual purchases. This expansion will make Nepal’s vast real estate market more systematic and accessible.
The main objective of this service is to provide complete security by minimizing the existing risks in real estate administration and transactions. Himalayan Realtors will play a leading role in realizing the government’s long-term goal of making the real estate sector completely non-face-to-face and fully banking system like the stock market.
