Kathmandu. Himalayan Life Insurance Company (HLIC) has organized an MDRT felicitation program. The program was organized under the Mechi Zone in Birtamode on Saturday.
The company organized a special program and honored the agents who have qualified for MDRT for the year 2026 (Million Dollar Round Table). On the occasion, Khibaraj Dahal, Pushpa Khadka, Sagar Rijal and Dilip Gautam were felicitated by the company’s CEO Kapil Kumar Dahal.
CEO Dahal, who was the chief guest of the program, congratulated the MDRTs and wished them further success.
He said that in the insurance business, the service to the insured is more important than selling the policy. Stating that agent is a respected profession, Dahal encouraged them to achieve various achievements and not limited to ordinary agents.
Chief Business Officer of the company, Nabin Thapa, said that the company is always ready to provide services and facilities to the insured. Stating that corporate and agent are complementary to each other, Thapa said that both sides should work in the interest of the insured.
On the occasion, Koshi Province Chief Ram Bahadur Shahi and Amnesty International National Past President Hem Khadka extended their best wishes to the winners.
On the occasion, Youth Entrepreneurs and Bakery Industries Entrepreneurs Association Jhapa Secretary Dinesh Adhikari, Lions Club of Birtamod Smart Lady President Yashoda Upret and Hem Khadka were honored as mentors for their constant encouragement to the agents.
The successful MDRT graduates shared their experiences. Various musical performances were also featured on the occasion. In the program, 21 people have committed to becoming MDRT for the coming year.
The program was hosted by Birtamod branch chief Badri Bhandari and welcomed by Chandrakala Ghimire, chief of Surunga branch of the company.
