KATHMANDU: Himalayan Life Insurance (HLIC) has decided to provide an access to the company’s software system to the agency managers working for the company to submit their insurance offer online. According to the company, this type of access has been given to make it easier for the agency manager to submit the insurance proposal to the company from home or office.
Agency managers can use the agency portal in the software system to submit their insurance proposal to the company for approval. After the agency manager submits the prescribed documents and details for the insurance proposal to the agency portal, the company will underwrite the underwriting through online medium and the insurance proposal will be approved if the necessary process is completed.
This facility given to the agency manager does not have to go to the company to approve the insurance proposal and can work from home or the agency’s own office. Due to the facility provided by the company to the agency manager, the approval of the insurance proposal will be fast, fast and easy. Kapil Kumar Dahal, Chief Executive Officer of the company, said that the company intends to make agency managers a part of the underwriters and will be given access to this facility after fulfilling certain conditions.
Arrangements have been made for the company to get information about the business report and other details from the agency portal, which has been given access to the agency manager. The company says that efforts are being made to make the company’s service technology-friendly by expanding this type of facility in the coming days.
