Kathmandu. Himalayan Life Insurance has invited applications for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The post of CEO of Himalayan Life Insurance Company has been vacant since the suspension of former CEO Kapil Kumar Dahal on June 12 for violating the Insurance Act. The company has invited applications for a new CEO while Dahal is under suspension. It has not even been 3 months since Dahal was suspended.
The company has published a notice inviting applications for the CEO. The CEO should have a Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting and Insurance or equivalent from a recognized university. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as DCEO or CEO in an insurance company.
Similarly, life insurance should have special expertise in operations, production, underwriting, claims, reinsurance, risk management, investment, financial management, etc.
According to the company, the CEO should have the ability to strategize and make decisions along with a leadership role.
