Kathmandu. The employees of Himalayan Life Insurance have donated food and clothes worth about Rs 8 lakh to the people affected by the recent floods and landslides in Rasuwa district.
The food and clothes collected from the employees of Himalayan Life Insurance have been handed over to the Nepal Army based in Nuwakot with the objective of providing immediate relief to the families affected by the floods and landslides.
The relief materials collected from the employees will be purchased and transported to the flood and landslide-affected areas of Rasuwa by the Nepal Army. The employees collected relief materials on their behalf to help the affected citizens in this difficult time of disaster.
It is believed that the assistance, which is being given priority to humanitarian services and social responsibility, will provide some relief to the affected families. In addition, the employees have pledged to continue the necessary assistance and cooperation during such disasters in the coming days.
