Kathmandu. Himalayan Everest Insurance has been giving priority to the insurance claim management and payment process of the insured affected by the floods in Rasuwa.
With the aim of providing relief to the insured, Rs. 23,23,39,200 has been paid in advance, the company said. Claims have been made under various insurance categories including motor, property, marine, engineering and group personal accident insurance. The company has been carrying out the payment process as per the necessary evaluation and procedure of claims.
Similarly, except for the 2 disputed claims related to the Jenji movement, the payment of other claims has been 100 percent, said Roj Raj Luitel, head of the claim department. He said that further decision will be taken in the case of the disputed claims according to the necessary process and resolution of the dispute.
Himalayan Everest Insurance is committed to making the claim management of the insured effective. The company has prioritized the claim payment process with an aim to provide relief to the insured affected by the natural calamity.
