According to the financial report, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 11.05 crore till mid-April of the current FY. Previous fiscal year 2082. The company posted a net profit of Rs 33.23 crore in the same period. The company’s profit decreased by 66.73 percent compared to the previous year.
The company has a share capital of Rs 2.50 billion with special reserve of Rs 1.96 billion, catastrophe fund of Rs 8.77 crore, retained earnings of Rs 150.1 million and other equity of Rs 425.8 million. As of mid-July of the previous year, the company had a special reserve of Rs 1.91 billion, a catastrophe fund of Rs 82.1 million, a retained earnings of Rs 30.15 crore and other equity of Rs 41.42 crore.
Similarly, the company’s insurance fund stood at Rs 5.19 billion in the review period. In the previous fiscal year, the insurance fund was Rs 3.85 billion. The size of the insurance fund has increased by 34.84 percent.
In the review period, the company earned Rs 2.95 billion in total insurance premiums. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 2.86 billion in the same quarter last year. The company’s total premium has increased by 3.40 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.
The company has earned Rs 1.43 billion in net insurance premium till mid-April of the current fiscal year. In the review period, the net premium has increased by 15.85 percent compared to the previous year. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 1,2401 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s annualized earnings per share (EPS) declined to Rs 5.90. The EPS was Rs. 13.29 a year ago. The company has a net worth per share of Rs 205.28 with a P/E ratio of 88.69 times.
