Kathmandu. The Health Insurance Board has asked the old insured to update their KYC. The Insurance Board has made arrangements for the insured to update their KYC.
According to the Insurance Board, the HIB e-portal (eportal.hib.gov.np) has been launched. Through this e-portal, the insured will be able to update their KYC to renew their health insurance. While updating the KYC, the insured can correct the common errors in the name, date of birth, address, mobile number, national identity card number, citizenship÷birth registration details, family details and other necessary details.
This is how KYC can be updated

- Go to eportal.hib.gov.np in the browser.
- Old insured click ‘Click Here’.
- Keep the health insurance number of the head of the family and one of the members.
- Complete the user create process.
- update and submit all members’ details via the national ID number or manually.
- will be updated after verification by the registration officer of the concerned permanent address (district).
