Kathmandu. The government has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to remove unauthorized social networks, pages and groups associated with the Health Insurance Board.
The Insurance Board issued a notice today giving such an ultimatum. “Serious attention has been drawn to the operation of unauthorized pages and groups using the logo of Health Insurance Board like Nepal Government Health Insurance Board, Health Insurance Board, Health Insurance Program, Government of Nepal Health Insurance Board-Health Insurance” on Facebook, TikTok and YouTube, which are being disseminated misleading, unsubstantiated and irrelevant information.
As such unauthorized information has created confusion among the general public, the concerned people operating all such pages and groups have been given an ultimatum to remove this notice within 24 hours from the date of publication of this notice.
The Insurance Board has warned that necessary action will be taken as per the prevailing laws if the directive is not followed within the stipulated time.
