Kathmandu. The government has decided to give a public holiday on Wednesday, August 10. Issuing a notice today, the Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to declare a public holiday on the occasion of Mohammed Jayanti.
The government has decided to give a public holiday on that day as it has been informed by the Muslim Commission that the birth anniversary of Muhammad falls on August 24. It will be a public holiday only for Muslims.
