Kathmandu. The government has announced a comprehensive restructuring of the health insurance program.
Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle presented the budget for the coming fiscal year in the joint session of both houses of the Federal Parliament today. The government has set a target to universalize the health insurance and bring 90 per cent of the population under the ambit of health insurance within the next three years.
Similarly, a single payment method would be implemented by integrating various health security programs and responsibilities, said Finance Minister Wagle.
