The company has shown a glimpse of new AI-powered glasses. It will also listen to people’s voices, understand their surroundings, edit photos and videos, guide them and order food.
This time, Google has fully connected its AI platform Gemini to these specs. The company says that these glasses will not only be seen but also act as a digital companion of people.
Google’s new Android XR smart glasses are getting the most discussion. The company has partnered with fashion brands Warby Parker and Gentle Monster to create new smart eyewear. These glasses will have cameras and speakers, and Gemini AI will operate directly inside them.
Google has said that in the future, these glasses will also support Direct Translation. This means that the other person will speak in another language and the translation will be displayed. The company calls it the AI companion of the future.
Apart from the glasses, Google has also launched a new AI model called Gemini 3.5 Flash. It is said to be faster and more intelligent than before. This AI will power these smart glasses. –Agency
