Kathmandu. Now, the compulsion to go to the bank office to open an account is removed. Global IME Bank has launched its ‘Global Next Gen Account’ targeting youths.
People with a national ID or passport can open an account online without having to visit the bank. After applying, the account will be opened and mobile banking service can also be operated from home.
The account offers attractive interest rates and mobile banking is completely free for the first year. According to the bank, this service has been specially targeted towards the younger generation with the aim of making digital banking easy, fast and hassle-free.
