Kathmandu. Global IME Bank Ltd. organized a massive blood donation program in all seven provinces to mark its 19th anniversary. The blood donation program is one of 19 CSR initiatives announced by the bank on the occasion of its 19th anniversary.
Global IME Bank has completed 19 years of its establishment and entered into its 20th year. On the occasion, the bank organized blood donation programs in all seven provinces of the country.
The blood donation program was organized at Tinpeni branch of Koshi Province, Bardibas branch of Madhesh Province, Kantipath and Narayangadh branch of Bagmati Province, Pokhara New Road branch of Gandaki Province, Chauraha Butwal branch and Nepalgunj branch of Lumbini Province, Surkhet branch of Karnali Province and Dhangadhi branch of Sudurpaschim Province.
A total of 558 blood donors donated blood in the program organized in collaboration with Grande International Hospital and Nepal Red Cross Society. Also, the blood collected from the program will be given priority to the poor, poor and low-income people.
The bank has been continuously carrying out various social activities as a part of its corporate social responsibility.
