Kathmandu. As of mid-March of the fiscal year 2082/83, the micro non-life insurance companies have collected more than Rs 825 million in total insurance premiums. According to the data published by the Insurance Authority, four micro non-life insurance companies have sold 305,931 insurance policies and collected a total of Rs 82.58 crore in insurance premiums.
As of mid-March, Nepal Micro Insurance has earned a total of Rs 21.5 crore in insurance premium by selling 77,921 insurance policies. Protective Micro Insurance has earned Rs 22.80 crore in insurance premiums by selling 87,517 insurance policies.
Similarly, Star Micro Insurance has earned Rs 18.40 crore in insurance premium by selling 80,450 policies. Trust Micro Insurance has earned Rs 19.86 crore in insurance premiums by selling 60,043 policies.
