Kathmandu. The Special Investigation Bureau (SIB) of Nepal Police has arrested Mridula Sariya, the former proprietor of Crest Micro Insurance, on Thursday.
The government had filed a case against 41 people, including promoters of Himalayan Reinsurance Company Dipak Bhatt and Sulav Agrawal, under the Insurance Act. Sharia, who is also the daughter-in-law of Sulav Agrawal’s aunt, was absconding before the case was filed.

On the basis of the investigation report of Nepal Police, Mridula has been mentioned as an absconding accused when the charge sheet was filed on June 12 on the charge related to insurance.
