Kathmandu. The stock market fell for the third consecutive day on Wednesday. At the same time, the transaction also fell for the third time in a row. The NEPSE index which fell on Monday has continued today.
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased by 7.79 points to close at 2688.88 today. The turnover has also come down to Rs 4 billion.
Two sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while 11 sub-groups declined. Other sub-groups saw a rise of 0.43 per cent while the microfinance group saw a 0.60 per cent decline.
Shareholders of Everest Color have earned the most while the units of Garima Samriddhi Yojana have lost the most.

Shares of 78 companies rose on the day, while shares of 186 companies declined. Shares of 11 companies remained stable today.

Himalayan Power Partners was the most traded company in the market today. The company had a turnover of Rs 22.47 crore.
