Kathmandu. The 60th annual general meeting and election of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) is scheduled to be held in the month of May. A meeting of the office-bearers committee of the federation held on Friday fixed the new date.
Earlier, the Committee of Office-bearers had fixed the 60th Annual General Meeting and election date for April 29 and 30, 2082. However, the meeting was adjourned due to the interim order after some FNCCI members filed a writ petition at Patan High Court demanding to stop holding the AGM on the predetermined date.
The FNJ has decided to hold the general meeting of the office-bearers committee of the FNJ and the election of new working committee members on May 7 and 22 after the court cleared the legal way for holding the general convention.
The meeting has decided to organize the meeting of the FNJ Executive Committee on April 9, a press release issued by the FNJ stated.
