Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has cancelled the license of First Pay Technology payment system operator.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued a notice today. First Pay had obtained the license of payment system operator from Nepal Rastra Bank on February 27, 2019.
The central bank clarified that the license of First Pay has been canceled as per Section 13 (6) of the Payment and Settlement Act, 2075. The NRB has also notified the concerned institution to contact the concerned institution within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice.
