Kathmandu. The Ministry of Finance is holding high-level discussions today to take effective steps to control revenue leakage.
Home Minister Sudhan Gurung, secretaries of the Office of the Prime Minister, Finance Home, Revenue Administration, Chiefs of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force will attend the meeting. Heads of the divisions and departments of the Ministry of Finance related to revenue administration will also participate in the meeting.
Finance Minister Wagle is scheduled to give important directives in the meeting to control revenue evasion and illegal import and implementation of laws. The meeting will begin at 11:00 am and will last for one hour, according to Ministry’s Joint Secretary and Spokesperson Tanka Prasad Pandey.
Following the meeting, Pandey will inform the media about the discussions and decisions taken by the meeting via video, phone or press release.
