Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — The Ministry of Finance has formed a committee to study and submit recommendations for the improvement of Nepal’s insurance sector.
Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has formed a three-member committee under the convenorship of Sushil Kumar Ojha. Sahadev Tiwari and Shree Krishna Thapa Magar are the members of the committee. The committee has been given 90 days to study and submit recommendations for insurance sector reforms.
Ojha is a former employee at the Ministry of Finance. Tiwari is the former Deputy CEO of Premier Insurance. Another member is a chartered accountant by profession.
