Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is calling on Indian industrialists to invest in Nepal today.
Finance Minister Wagle will address a ‘Round Table’ discussion with industrialists organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on the occasion of the Finance Minister’s visit to India at 9:30 am on Saturday at the CII headquarters in New Delhi. The President of the Confederation of India, Dr. Suchitra K. Finance Minister Wagle will participate as the chief guest in the program to be presided over by the Chief Minister.
During the program, Wagle will call upon Indian industrialists to make new investments in Nepal and expand investment to those who have already invested. In addition, he will clarify the Government of Nepal’s position on investment-friendly legal stability, investment safety and assurance of returns.
According to the CNI, about two dozen industrialists including former president of CNI and ITC India President Sanjeev Puri will participate in the meeting with Finance Minister Wagle.
