Kathmandu. Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle has expressed confidence that the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) would reduce systemic risk through effective regulation and supervision.
Issuing a message of best wishes on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of SEBON, Finance Minister Wagle said this in a message. “It is imperative to make the capital market safe, competitive and conforming to international standards to attract individual and institutional investors,” the message reads. ’
Finance Minister Wagle also expressed the expectation that SEBON would protect and promote investors’ interest through good governance, market reform and development by making the regulatory role of the capital market effective.
