Everest School donates Rs 9 lakh to flood victims

Kathmandu. Everest English School and Everest Bhaktapur School have jointly donated Rs 9,05,304 to the families affected by the recent devastating floods. According to the letter sent by District PABSON to the school, the amount collected from the teachers, staff and students of both the schools has been deposited in the account of Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited of District PABSON for relief and humanitarian assistance.

According to the school administration, the amount was collected from teachers, staff and students with the aim of providing relief and humanitarian assistance to the flood-affected families. After depositing the amount in the bank account, the bank voucher has also been sent to the office of the district PABSON for information, according to the school. The details of the letter have also been sent to Municipal Education Bhaktapur, Central PABSON Kathmandu and Nagar PABSON Bhaktapur for information.

According to the details given by the school, Rs 6,23,044 has been collected from Everest English School and Rs 2,82,260 from Everest Bhaktapur School. The total amount of the two schools has come to Rs 9,05,304. The joint letter was issued by Bhakta Rajbhandari, Founder Principal of Everest English School and Kamaladevi Amatya Rajbhandari, Founder Principal of Everest Bhaktapur School.

Both the schools are currently jointly located in Bhaktapur Municipality Ward No. 2, Mibachhe Vyasi. Everest English School was established in 1983.
