Kathmandu. Malaysia and Indonesia have banned Elon Musk’s company X’s AI chatbot Grok. These are the first countries in the world to ban this AI tool.
Grok allows the user to generate images. However, in recent weeks it has been used to edit people’s photos without their consent. Malaysia and Indonesia have said Grok can be used to create pornographic and non-consensual images of women and children.
Elon Musk has already said that critics of his platform are looking for “some excuse for censorship”.
