Kathmandu. Elon Musk, the world’s only billionaire, has accused some industrialists of blocking Starlink’s entry into India.
In response to the post on Social Media X, Musk wrote, “Unfortunately, some industrialists are stopping us to maintain their monopoly grip on the people of India. You can guess who they are! This is a crime against the people of India!”
The post says that Starlink is needed in India. Because many villages are still not connected to broadband.
Musk wrote on X on Wednesday night, “In India, Starlink will provide fast and affordable internet connection to those people. Those who are unable to use it due to the current price or who do not have an internet connection. ’
Speaking at the India Mobile Congress here on Wednesday, Lauren Dreyer, Vice President, Business Operations, Starlink, said, “Starlink has already built 20 gateway sites in India and developed India-specific security controls to store Indian user data inside the country. ’
According to Dreyer, Starlink hopes to launch satellite broadband services in India as soon as possible after receiving all approvals. – Agency
