Kathmandu. Ashish Gyawali, editor of investmentnews.com, will be honored with this year’s ‘Dr. Harihar Dev Pant Economic Journalism Award-2083’.
Dr. According to a press release issued by the Harihardev Pant Foundation, the promoter of Nepal’s microfinance campaign and advocate of economic development and poverty alleviation, the late Dr. Established in the memory of Harihardev Panta, it has been decided to present the award to Gyawali.
According to Foundation Chairman Janardan Dev Panta, the award is to be given in recognition of his contribution to the country’s economic development, financial awareness and various issues in the economic sector through economic journalism.
He has been active in financial journalism for more than two decades. Gyawali will be given a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a letter of appreciation. The prize distribution program will be held on Sunday, September 7. On the occasion of the 11th anniversary of Pant’s death anniversary, the foundation has said.
The Foundation has been presenting this award to one outstanding economic journalist or organization every year since 2074 BS. Earlier, Society of Economic Journalists of Nepal (SEJON), Gokarna Awasthi, Bishnu Belbase, Alija Upreti, Mamata Thapa, Bijaya Raj Khanal, Yagya Banjade, Krishna Rijal and Yadav Humagain have been honored with the award.
