Kathmandu. The Dordi Khola Hydropower Company has called for a special general meeting.
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company has decided to hold the special general meeting on June 1. The assembly will begin at 9:00 am at Himshikhar Party Venue in Chapagaun, Lalitpur.
The AGM will endorse the main proposal to issue right shares to its shareholders. The company will issue 6,082,550 units right shares at a face value of Rs 100 at the ratio of 1:0.288 of the current paid-up capital. For this, the company has already got prior approval from the Electricity Regulatory Commission.
The meeting shall endorse a special proposal authorizing the Board of Directors to make any changes in the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association if suggested or directed by the regulatory bodies regarding the issue of right shares. The meeting will approve a proposal to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of the company.
The company has decided to close the book on June 8 for the purpose of the meeting. This means that only the shareholders who have been in possession before June 8 will be eligible to participate in the special general meeting of the company.
