Kathmandu. The government has directed the government offices to immediately update the names, mobile numbers and e-mails of their employees on their websites.
The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers issued a circular to all ministries, commissions and secretariats, offices of chief ministers and ministers of all provinces and local levels today. The circular also directed the office chief, spokesperson and information officer to raise the mobile phone of the office at least during office hours and immediately address the information and complaints demanded by the citizens and service seekers.
According to the office, the complaints have been received regarding the lack of updating of the details of the office chief, spokesperson and information officer on the website of the public bodies and the telephone and mobile phones of the office. The directive has been issued by the office to address these complaints.
