Kathmandu. The bodies of 270 people who lost their lives in the devastating floods in Rasuwa have been recovered.
According to the data made public by the Nepal Police, 108 bodies have been found in Chitwan alone. The bodies of 62 people have been found in Nawalparasi East, 27 in Dhading, 20 in Gorkha, 17 in Rasuwa, 15 in Nawalparasi West, 12 in Nuwakot and 9 in Tanahun.
According to the police, 66 people are currently undergoing treatment at different hospitals and the injured have reached 66.
A total of 4,050 police personnel have been deployed to rescue the affected areas. So far, 28 police personnel are out of contact.
