Kathmandu. The Department of Foreign Employment has given a 3-day deadline to remove misleading publicity materials related to labour permit and middlemen.

Issuing a notice today, the department issued such an ultimatum. “The Department took this step after receiving complaints that some cyber centers, training centres and other organisations located near the entry of the department’s office were misleading, attracting, extorting money or even acting as middlemen by publicizing the word ‘labour is done here’ or ‘labour permit is done here’ or ‘labour online form is filled’ or similar words.

The Department has warned that action will be taken against those who do not follow this directive as per the Foreign Employment Act, 2064 and other prevailing laws.
