Deep Chandra Regmi has been appointed as the new CEO of Global IME Bank.

Kathmandu. Deep Chandra Regmi has been promoted to the post of Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) of Global IME Bank.

According to the decision of the board of directors of the bank held on Tuesday, Regmi has been promoted to the post of DCEO. The newly appointed DCEO Regmi was working as the assistant chief executive officer of the bank.

Regmi, who started his banking career with Standard Chartered Bank Nepal in 2007, has been associated with Global IME Bank since 2009. He has held the responsibility of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), Chief Credit Officer (CLO) and Head of Trade Finance of the bank.

He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Global IME Capital, a subsidiary of Regmi Bank. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand and Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.

Global IME Bank, which has been honored in various national and international categories for its modern technology and excellent customer service, has been recognized with the title of ‘Bank of the Year 2014’, ‘Best Internet Bank 2016’, and ‘Best Bank Nepal’ for the years 2024, 2025 and 2026.
