Russia’s Emergencies Ministry has said that its alert app has been the victim of a large-scale cyber attack. According to the ministry, this attack allowed hackers to send false information.

However, the ministry clarified that the country’s public alert system was functioning normally.

After the alleged cyberattack, false warnings were also sent from Ukraine’s air raid warning app.

Ukraine’s Center for Strategic Communications blamed Russia for the cyberattack.

The organization shared a post on the social media platform X. In which pictures of some of the alerts appearing on Ukraine’s airstrike app were released.
