Kathmandu. Due to the disruption from the Rasuwa road network due to the Bhotekoshi flood, there is a big problem in movement and transportation of goods.
According to the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, the process of constructing a 75-metre-long bailey bridge at Falakhu from Tallo Kuwapani Bimirekhola of Suryagadhi Rural Municipality-2 in Nuwakot to Bahakhola of Naukunda Rural Municipality-5 of Rasuwa has been initiated as an alternative route to connect Rasuwa to the road network.
As per the request from the chairperson of the concerned municipality, the Ministry has issued necessary directives and facilitation for the construction of the bailey bridge.
After the completion of the construction of the bailey bridge, the shortest alternative route connecting Nuwakot and Rasuwa will be ready. With this, Bidur can be reached at a distance of about 23 kilometers from Falankhu Khola and about 35 kilometers from Dhunche.
