Condemnation of assault on staff at NEFSCUN Surkhet Member Service Office

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Savings and Credit Central Cooperative Union (NEFSCUN) has condemned the manhandling of staffers at its member service office in Surkhet.

The employees of NEFSCUN have submitted a memorandum to the Chief Executive Officer condemning the incident. “Serious attention has been drawn to the incident that took place at the Surkhet Member Service Office on January 18,” reads the memorandum. ’

• The attack on Chand and Timilsena, employees of Rawat (Bhote), a member of the Board of Directors of NEFSCUN, has made all our employees unsafe due to the attack on Chand and Timilsena. Rawat (Bhote) should be immediately suspended and sacked until this matter is settled in a lawful manner.
• } Due to this attack, we demand proper management of the security of the life and property of all the employees, keeping in mind the security sensitivities of the employees Chand and Timilsena.

In order to fully comply with the law that all the employees working in NEFSCUN should be able to work uninterruptedly, we demand the complete removal of all types of executive roles of the committee and sub-committees and not to interfere in any administrative work except the functions and responsibilities mentioned in the bylaws and working procedures of NEFSCUN.TAG_OPEN_li_18

• We strongly demand the immediate removal of all the offices of all the sub-committees of NEFSCUN.
• At a time when the image of NEFSCUN has been badly affected by such indecent acts by the leadership, we demand that any person in the committee or sub-committee or the cooperative organization involved in that person has been taken action or blacklisted or has been taken legal action on the basis of information, information and evidence that the image of the association has been negatively affected by such indecent actions by the leadership, we demand immediate suspension and dismissal of the representative of the organization on the basis of information, information and facts and evidence.

In the context of the negative impact on the morale of all the employees due to the Surkhet incident, we would like to inform that all the services provided by all the offices of NEFSCUN will be completely shut down until this incident is resolved.TAG_OPEN_li_15 We will also announce more agitation in a phased manner if the above demands are not met.
