Concessional loans up to Rs 20 lakh without collateral to educated youth

Kathmandu. The government has made arrangements to provide concessional loans up to Rs 2 million without collateral to educated youths to make them entrepreneurial and self-employed. Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel said this in the budget for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS on Thursday.

Based on educational qualifications, business registration, skill test certificate and business plan, educated youth will be provided collateral-free loans at concessional interest rate of 3 percent from Rs 200,000 to Rs 2 million.
