Kathmandu. The Office of the Company Registrar has made significant improvements in the ‘Company Administration Management Information System’ in order to make its online service more convenient and effective.
According to the office, new facilities have been implemented to address the practical and technical problems of the service recipients.
1. Copy application will be automatically approved: From now on, when the service recipient asks for a copy of the documents such as share record and company registration certificate, it will be approved immediately and automatically from the system. The service recipients will be able to get the documents immediately after paying the prescribed fee online on the basis of the number of sheets of the return.
2. Verification at the local level: The verification process has now been decentralized, improving the e-service for company accounts. Users have been removed from the compulsion to visit the company registrar’s office to get the user and password. Now, the applicants can submit the application by uploading the documents online after getting the identification done by the chief, deputy mayor or ward chairperson of the local level.
3. Improvement in Share Trading: In the case of a large number of shareholders, the system has been improved to make it clear which shareholder’s details are yet to be filled while determining the share range. This is expected to make the share transfer process more transparent and error-free.
According to the office, the system has been revised on the basis of suggestions received from service recipients, employees and stakeholders. The notice issued by Registrar Balaram Niraula stated that the details and updates of the application will be available on the user’s mobile number and email after submission.
