Kathmandu. Payment Service Provider Licensed Organizations City Wallet Pvt. Ltd. Ltd. And fast money Pvt. Ltd. They are going to start the integrated business from April 3.
According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the two service providers are going to start the integrated business after the merger has been given the final approval for the merger of all the assets and liabilities of the existing institutions.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued a notice stating that both these institutions have jointly launched ‘City Wallet Pvt. Ltd. The business will be operated in the name of the company.
Prior to this, merger has already started in the digital wallet sector in Nepal. Two digital wallets, Khalti and IME Pay, have been merged to become the ‘Khalti by IME’ platform.
City Pay Wallet is operated by City Wallet Pvt. Ltd., a company promoted by City Express. Apart from this, the promoters of ‘Pathao Nepal’ are also involved in the ‘Jaldi Pay’ wallet.
